It all started when…

Back when digital photography was emerging and I was assisting Neil Kirk and my friend Stewart Price was doing post work for Tony Duran, we started this little influencial company know as Digital Retouch. We became a major influence in transforming Celebrities to Cover Models and doing our part to bring about the digital revolution.  After Capture Magazine published our story (see below).

DigitalRetouch, Inc. specializes in celebrity, fashion and beauty digital retouching for photographic images.   Digital post-production can provide a "nip and tuck" or allow for completely new creative possibilities.  Tell-tale signs of airbrushing and unrealistic skin textures are a thing of the past.  Our retouchers pride themselves by leaving behind no evidence of their transformations.

DR's highly skilled retouchers are "real world" tested and use the most current digital photo manipulation programming developed by Adobe.  DR uses the latest Macintosh powered systems with high definition displays and calibrates to industry standards on a regular basis.  DigitalRetouch artists can output incredibly natural, un-retouched looking master files in much less time than traditional retouching.

DigitalRetouch has a client list that includes the who's who of international fashion magazines, the hottest Hollywood celebrity "A" list,  plus top music entertainers and fashion design companies.  With over 30 years of combined fashion & beauty photography experience, DR's crew understands the trends and nuances of our demanding clientele.

DR also emphasizes the importance of a successful creative relationship between the client photographer and digital artist. Understanding the photographic process and having the "real world" experience to interpret the client's needs are prerequisites for our retouchers.  DigitalRetouch also understands and deals with high pressure deadlines by offering high tech solutions for quick turnarounds and electronic proofing and delivery systems.
